At 12 years old, Nutty is a charming tomcat looking for a quiet home where he can enjoy life at his own pace. Kind and affectionate once he feels comfortable, he enjoys human company, but he’s also very good at letting you know when he needs his space.
Nutty is a gentleman who knows what he likes and appreciates having his pace respected. Affectionate in his own way, he loves sharing special moments with his humans, but he won’t hesitate to let you know when he needs a little break. A family attentive to his feline language and his boundaries will discover a lovable companion, full of personality and charm.
He gets along with other cats. His compatibility with dogs is unknown. Nutty is not compatible with children and is looking for a quiet environment where he can feel safe.
Despite his age, Nutty still has plenty of love to offer the right family. If you’re looking for a mature companion who’s independent at times and endearing in his own way, Nutty might just be the cat for you. 🐾❤️
1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.
2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment
A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.
Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm
*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.
*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.
3. Visit at the shelter
The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!
Signing of the adoption contract
Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)
Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)
Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)
Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)
CATS
- Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
- Cats over 6 months old: $250
- Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
- Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Petsecure Insurance (6 weeks).
EXOTIC ANIMALS
- Rabbit: $113
- Guinea pig (female): $16
- Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
- Rat: $11
- Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
- Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

DOGS
- Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
- Dog more than 6 months old: $445
- Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
