Spike – A Big Heart in a Big Body Hi, my name is Spike. I’m a 1-year and 8-month-old Mastiff x Dogo Argentino mix. I’m a dog with a strong personality, full of energy, with a unique character… and a charm no one can resist. I’m what you might call a big baby: curious, affectionate, clumsy, and a bit rough around the edges. I’m still discovering the world, sometimes with a little too much enthusiasm – I often use my mouth to express myself, though I’m learning that it’s not always the best way. What I’m looking for is an experienced family who can guide me with patience, consistency, and kindness. I need clear boundaries, activities to burn off energy, and, most importantly, humans who are ready to fully commit to helping me grow. A few important things to know: • I need to be the only dog in the house for now. A canine companion might be possible in the future, but not right away. • My reaction to cats is uncertain, so a gradual introduction will be needed if there are any in your home. • Since I’m quite strong and not the most delicate, a home with teenagers aged 15 and up would be more appropriate. • I’m an active dog: I need to move, explore, play, and channel my big energy.
