Organizing an event

Want to help raise funds for the animals of the SPCA Roussillon by organizing an event?
Simply fill out the online form by indicating your idea and we will contact you to discuss if your idea is selected.

Becoming a foster family

Occasionally, we need foster homes for our animals. Some of them do not respond well in a shelter environment and others may require special care. The stay of an animal in a foster home can last anywhere from a few days, weeks to months depending of the case. So be a foster home, it is a wonderful and personal way to contribute to saving animals in need.

If you are interested in becoming a foster home for cats or exotics, fill out the appropriate form online (catsexotics) and someone from the SPCA Roussillon will contact you. You can also contact us at 450-638-9698 for more information.

Volunteering at the shelter

Given the current circumstances we are facing because of COVID-19, volunteering activities are suspended until further notice. Thank you for your understanding!

SPCA Roussillon is a non-profit organization. Our volunteers are essential tools for the welfare of animals at the shelter. Human contact and the love that they receive from our volunteers are vital to their mental health.

Thank you in advance to everyone that has the heart to help save abandoned animals. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, fill out the form online for the activity that interests you the most.

Please take note that due to the large amount of volunteers applying, we have had no other choice than to create a waiting list. You may fill out a form, however we will communicate with you only when a new position will be available.
Thank you for your understanding.

We need volunteers to:

• Cuddle and brush the cats that are up for adoption.
• Interact with the dogs that are up for adoption.
• Assist with special events such as adoption clinics.
• Help us design our posters for our various events.
• Transport animals to the vet or other shelters outside the Montreal region.
