Meet Freckle, a charming 3-year-old tomcat with a tender heart.

Freckle is a quiet cat who needs a little time to adjust to his surroundings. Shy at first, he prefers to observe before seeking attention. But once he gains trust, he reveals a very gentle and kind side that is eager to thrive in a quiet home.

This handsome boy is selective with other cats: cohabitation might be possible with a respectful feline companion, but he would likely prefer to be the king of the house. Dogs are not compatible with him, and as for young children, compatibility is unknown—so a visit with the family will be important to see if a bond can be formed.

Freckle needs a patient family, willing to give him time to open up at his own pace. If you have a quiet home and lots of love to offer, he could well be the loyal companion you are looking for.

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $280
  • Cats over 6 months old: $235
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $160
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Petsecure Insurance (6 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $105
  • Guinea pig (female): $15
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $50
  • Rat: $10
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $50
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals
