Moutarde is an adorable 6-year-old rabbit looking for her forever home. This lovely Lionhead rabbit is distinguished by her soft fur and endearing face that melts hearts.

Sociable, gentle, and a pleasure to be around, Moutarde greatly enjoys human company and loves to be petted. Despite her 6 years, she remains curious and likes to explore her surroundings at her own pace. A big foodie, she becomes very enthusiastic at mealtimes! So, you have to be careful when feeding her, as she can be very voracious and try to bite any fingers that get in her way. 😋

Moutarde also has a bit of a personality and knows exactly when to let you know she wants some peace and quiet. She will therefore need a family who will respect her boundaries and give her space when she needs it. A home without young children would be best, to ensure a harmonious and respectful cohabitation that suits her temperament.

Rather territorial, Moutarde might also have difficulty living with another rabbit. She would probably be happiest as the only rabbit, with all the attention of her family.

Moutarde deserves a comfortable and calm home where she can enjoy her future years at her own pace, with affection, security, and plenty of treats.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
    *Except dogs from the Northern Paw program*
  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
