🐾 Meet Nyx 🐾

Nyx is a one-year-old Belgian Malinois mix who is just waiting for one thing: to find a family ready to offer him the stability and guidance he needs. Reserved at first, he takes the time to observe his surroundings before opening up. But once he earns your trust, he reveals himself to be a gentle, attentive dog who is very devoted to his humans.

Like many dogs his age, Nyx is still learning. Intelligent and motivated, he has all the qualities necessary to progress quickly with a dedicated family. He will enjoy activities that allow him to expend his energy both physically and mentally.

Nyx is looking for an active home that understands the needs of a Malinois-type dog. Walks, games, training, and daily challenges will be essential to his well-being and balance.

The presence of another dog could be a great asset for him, as he gets along well with other dogs. However, his compatibility with cats has not been assessed. He can also live with children aged 12 and over who are able to respect his personal space and contribute positively to his adjustment.

Please note that we do not perform DNA testing at the shelter, so we cannot guarantee the breed.

Apply for the adoption of this dog

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
