Meet Nimbus!

At just 4 months old, Nimbus is an adorable little boy with a soft, grey coat, as fluffy as the clouds he’s so aptly named for.

Nimbus is a real cuddle bug! He’s incredibly affectionate and loves hugs, kisses, and spending time with people. His favorite thing to do? Snuggle up to the little human of the house as soon as her bedroom door opens in the morning.

This charming kitten also has a very special passion… the robot vacuum cleaner! He loves climbing on it and letting it whisk him around the house, fascinated by the little brushes spinning beneath him. It’s his favorite toy, and he never misses an opportunity to go on an adventure in his funny little vehicle!

Nimbus is growing up in a foster home where he shares his life with his brother, his two sisters, and three adult cats. He’s therefore very comfortable with other felines and loves playing with them as much as with his siblings. He also lives with two children, ages 6 and 9, and two adults, making him a sociable, curious kitten accustomed to family life.

If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful companion who’s always ready to shower you with love, Nimbus could be the little bundle of joy your home is missing.

Nimbus is currently in foster care. It’s therefore important to schedule an appointment to meet him.

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
    *Except dogs from the Northern Paw program*
  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
