Hello, I’m Nellie! I’m an adorable Alaskan Husky mix female, about 4 months old, and I’m currently in foster care while I wait to find my forever home. 🐶✨

I’m a very affectionate, cuddly, and energetic little dog. I love human company and I’m always so happy to meet new people. For me, every human is an opportunity to receive attention and share wonderful moments! 🥰

Like many puppies my age, I still have a lot to learn. I tend to nip quite hard because I explore a lot with my mouth and I have a great desire to play. Therefore, I’ll need a family ready to support me in my training and help me develop good habits. This is especially important to consider with young children, even though I love them very much. 👧🐾

I’m a little ball of energy who loves to chew, play, and run around. My favorite treat? Ice cubes, which are probably my absolute favorite! 🧊 I also love going for walks and exploring the world around me. I’m also a vocal little Husky: I sometimes let out a grunt when I shift position after lying down… I just have a lot to say! 😄

My compatibility with dogs and cats is unknown at the moment, but a proper introduction and appropriate supervision will be necessary to see how I adapt to my future companions.

One little detail that makes me even more unique: if you look closely, you can see my pretty little blue crescent in one of my eyes. 🌙💙

Apply for the adoption of this dog

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230

  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
