🐾 Meet Cooper! 🐾

Cooper is a happy, active, and energetic bully-type dog, despite a heartbreaking past. ❤️ He was one of three dogs taken from a shelter in the United States by someone claiming to be rescuing them, only to be abandoned at a dog park in Quebec. Despite everything he’s been through, Cooper has never lost his zest for life! 🐶

He’s an energetic, fun-loving boy, always ready for a new adventure. 🌟 If there’s one thing he loves more than anything, it’s balls! 🎾 They’re his true passion, and he could play fetch for hours. Right now, his love of toys is so great that he still has trouble sharing them. With patience, training, and the right guidance from his future family, Cooper will slowly learn that sharing can be fun too. 😊

Because of his tendency to be protective of his toys, Cooper is looking for a family without other dogs, where he can enjoy his balls in peace. 🏡 Aside from toys, he’s sociable with other dogs and enjoys their company.

Just like his friend Stormy, Cooper is full of enthusiasm! 🐾 He can sometimes be very excitable, jumping on people and using his mouth when he plays. He would therefore be best suited to a family with children 12 years and older, who can understand and respect his energy and playful personality. 💙

Apply for the adoption of this dog

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
