Stormy is a gorgeous Bully mix, full of joie de vivre, with a big personality and an even bigger love for life! ❤️🐶 Affectionate and sociable, she’s always up for a new adventure or a sweet cuddle with her favorite humans. 🥰

Stormy’s story is heartbreaking. 💔 She was rescued from a shelter in the United States along with two other dogs by someone who claimed to be saving them. Unfortunately, instead of giving them a new life, they were abandoned in a dog park in Quebec. Despite everything she’s been through, Stormy has never lost her zest for life. She greets each day with a wagging tail and a wonderfully optimistic spirit. 🐾✨

Stormy enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with them. 🐕 However, she can be resource guarding with her toys. 🎾 Her ideal home would be as an only dog, or with an experienced family who can effectively manage interactions between dogs and provide appropriate guidance.

She would make an excellent first dog for an active family ready to continue her training and offer her a structured environment. 🏡 Stormy loves learning, participating in family activities, and being involved in her humans’ daily lives. 🌟

Due to her boundless enthusiasm, Stormy can sometimes become very excitable. When playing, she may jump, bounce, and use her mouth without any malicious intent. 😊 She is therefore looking for a family with children aged 12 and over who can understand her energy and interact with her appropriately.

Apply for the adoption of this dog

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230

  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
