Saxo is a charming 4-month-old kitten with a beautiful gray and white coat who is looking for a patient and caring family. He’s a bit nervous by nature and can be reserved when he’s in a new environment or meeting new people. Despite his shyness, Saxo allows people to approach him and is comfortable around humans, which shows his full potential to become an affectionate companion once he feels secure.

Like all young cats, Saxo is curious and still has a lot to discover. With time, gentleness, and patience, he will gradually gain confidence and reveal his personality. Every small victory will be a wonderful reward for his future family.

Saxo gets along well with other cats and might even benefit from the presence of a feline companion to help him gain confidence. However, his compatibility with dogs and children is unknown. If you have young children, a meet-and-greet at the shelter is recommended to assess whether the match is suitable.

Saxo is looking for a family willing to respect his pace and provide him with a calm, safe, and loving environment. By giving him the time he needs to adjust, you’ll discover a young cat full of potential who will form a unique bond with those who open their hearts to him.

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230

  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
