Meet Chatou, a magnificent 10-year-old male cat who is part of our Grey Muzzle adoption program due to his age. 💙

At the shelter, Chatou can sometimes be a bit of a handful. It’s important to remember that the shelter environment is very stressful for animals, and some express their discomfort in their own way. Despite this, Chatou is making great progress every day and is quietly showing us his true personality.

Once he feels safe and settled in his new home, Chatou proves to be a sweet companion who appreciates peace and quiet. He will need a patient family who will give him time to adapt at his own pace and develop a bond of trust.

Chatou gets along with other cats. He is unfamiliar with dogs. Due to his temperament and need for calm, he is not a good match for young children.

Our handsome Chatou would also benefit from losing a little weight to improve his health and comfort. A suitable diet and some encouragement to get moving will help him get back in better shape.

If you have a calm home, plenty of patience, and the desire to give a second chance to a senior cat who deserves to be loved, Chatou could be the perfect companion for you. Come meet him and give him the opportunity to show you all the love he has to offer. 🐾❤️
