Meet Cody, an adorable little kitten who is approximately 2 months old and waiting for a special family to help him begin this new chapter of his life. 🥰 Despite his young age, Cody has already been through a lot. He is blind and no longer has his eyes, but that certainly doesn’t stop him from being a cute, sweet, and affectionate little kitten. 💗

Cody is part of our Compassion Adoption Program because he is blind and also has a grade 3–4/6 heart murmur. His future family will need to understand his special needs and be prepared to provide him with the necessary veterinary follow-ups.

Cody is shy and will need time to adjust to his new surroundings. He needs a gentle, patient, and understanding family who will respect his pace and allow him to slowly build confidence. 🐾

Because Cody cannot see, he will need a safe and secure home adapted to his needs. Keeping his environment stable and avoiding frequent changes will be important. With consistent surroundings, patience, and lots of kindness, Cody can learn to navigate his environment and enjoy a happy life despite his disability. 🏡❤️

Cody is good with other cats. His compatibility with dogs and children is unknown, so any introductions should be calm, slow, and respectful.

This little sweetheart deserves a family who is willing to see beyond his special needs and give him all the safety, patience, and love he deserves. 💕 With time, Cody will be able to show you the adorable personality hiding behind his shyness. 🥹🐱

Adoption process

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

Cats over 6 months old: $250
Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

EXOTIC ANIMALS

Rabbit: $113
Guinea pig (female): $16
Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54

Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
