Flower Is Looking for a Gentle Family for Her Golden Years

Meet Flower, a lovely 12-year-old female cat who deserves to find a calm, warm, and loving home where she can enjoy this new chapter of her life.

Flower is a sweet, but shy girl who is sensitive to changes. She will need time to adjust to her new surroundings and learn to trust her new family. A calm, stable home without too much activity would be ideal for her. Her family will need to respect her pace and give her the space she needs to approach them when she feels ready.

Flower can live with other cats as long as they are respectful and give her space. She is not recommended for homes with young children, as their energy may be overwhelming for her reserved personality.

Flower is part of our Compassion Adoption Program because of her age and because she has a grade 3/6 heart murmur. Her future family will need to understand her special needs and provide any recommended veterinary follow-ups.

At 12 years old, Flower isn’t looking for a busy or chaotic life. She simply wants someone who will offer her patience, peace, security, and lots of affection. With time, she can slowly come out of her shell and enjoy all the little pleasures of life.

Flower is waiting for a family who will love her at her own pace and give her a peaceful home for all the years to come.

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
    *Except dogs from the Northern Paw program*
  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
