Meet Jackson a male of approximately 10 months old. Jackson came into our care a few months back when he fell sick with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) a virus that often if left untreated can be fatal. He had months of treatments and has now regained his health and is ready to find his forever home. Jackson is a more reserved cat that needs time to really get to know you before his true personality comes out. He is treat and toy motivated which helps to build your bond with him over time. Jackson likes to observe his surroundings and sometimes stay at a distance. He graces you with his presence on his own terms for snuggles and pets. His love for food has him curious anytime there’s something on the counter or when the treat bag ruffles. Jackson is also used to living with other cats and would love an active feline companion that likes to play. Jackson becomes more confident when he has feline friends that show him that everyday life isn’t scary. He is not recommended with young children or dogs given his stressed personality and the amount of time he needs to adapt. He would do better in a calm environment with a patient family that will love him unconditionally. Please take note that Jackson is still in his foster home.
