We present Jonquille, an adorable 4-month-old cat. Jonquille is still young and discovering the world around her, which makes her very nervous at the moment. She will need a patient and gentle family, willing to give her the time she needs to adapt to her new environment. Despite her nervousness, Jonquille lets herself be pet and is beginning to show confidence when you take her easy.

With socialization and lots of gentleness, she will gradually blossom and become an affectionate little cat. Jonquille is compatible with other cats, but her relationship with dogs and young children is unknown. She will need a calm environment to progress and feel secure. If you are willing to offer patience, time, and love to this nervous young cat, Jonquille could become your loyal and affectionate companion.

Adoption process

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $160
Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

EXOTIC ANIMALS

Rabbit: $105
Guinea pig (female): $15
Guinea pig (male – neutered): $50
Rat: $10
Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $50
Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)
