Missy is a beautiful one-year-old female with a gaze as intense as her temperament. This young cat is still very wary of humans and needs a lot of time to adjust to a new environment. She approaches slowly, preferring to observe from a distance before deciding if she can trust you.

We do not recommend cohabitation with other cats and we have no information on her compatibility with dogs. Given her fearful and sensitive temperament, a home without young children would be preferable. When she is too stressed or feels cornered, she can bite: it’s her way of letting Missy know she needs space.

We are therefore looking for a patient and calm family for Missy, willing to respect her rhythm and offer her a stable environment. Missy is waiting for you!

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $280
  • Cats over 6 months old: $235
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $160
  • Compassionate adoption: $160

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Petsecure Insurance (6 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $105
  • Guinea pig (female): $15
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $50
  • Rat: $10
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $50
