Hello, my name is Mymy and I’m 1 year old!

I’m currently in foster care, so it’s important to make an appointment to come and meet me. People say I’m a mysteriously affectionate cat, and I can’t wait to find my forever home. 💕

I arrived at the shelter with my kittens after living my whole life outdoors. At first, I was very terrified and protective of my little ones, but it only took me a few days to discover the comfort of a home and the gentleness of humans.

My beautiful long, silky black fur hasn’t always been this lovely. When I arrived, it was very damaged, and my foster family had to shave off a good portion of it. I let them do it like a champ, especially with the help of some tasty treats, because I was starving. I still have a few small patches where my fur needs to grow back, but it won’t be long.

Over time, I’ve made tremendous progress! Even though I can be a little timid at first, just give me a little time to discover my lovely personality. Once I trust you, I come looking for cuddles, I purr, I follow my humans everywhere in the house, and I show them my appreciation with adorable little coos.

With a gradual introduction, I could live with other cats as well as calm dogs who are used to cats. I can even adapt to a family with children who respect my pace, since I play with them when I feel comfortable enough, and I love receiving treats.

I’m looking for a kind and patient family who can see beyond my initial shyness. I’m an exceptional cat who just needs to reveal myself slowly. ❤️

Looking forward to joining your family!
