Meet Zora, a beautiful 7-year-old female cat in the Grey Muzzle program. She’s looking for a calm and respectful home where she can enjoy life at her own pace, surrounded by gentleness and tranquility. 🐾

Zora has a true princess personality! She knows exactly what she likes… and especially what she doesn’t! If something displeases her, she won’t hesitate to let you know quickly. It will therefore be important to respect her boundaries and allow her to seek out interaction when she wants it.

She enjoys being pet when she’s in the mood for attention and can be a delightful companion for someone who understands cat language and respects their space. 💕 Zora is not compatible with other cats and has never been around dogs. She is also not recommended for homes with children.

Zora is now waiting for a family who will appreciate her strong personality and love her just as she is. If you’re looking for an independent little princess who knows what she wants, Zora might just be the one for you!

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
    *Except dogs from the Northern Paw program*
  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
