Jojo had a difficult start in life… but despite everything she has been through, she has never let her past change her gentle heart. ❤️

This beautiful girl is a sweet, kind, and affectionate dog who now deserves to discover what it truly means to have a family, a stable home, and a life filled with little joys. At her age, Jojo no longer needs to rush through life. She much prefers peaceful moments, gentle attention, and simply being close to her humans. She is at a stage in her life where she would love nothing more than to enjoy life at her own pace. 🥰🐶

🐶 With dogs: Jojo could potentially live with a dog of a similar size and energy level, preferably a calm companion. A proper introduction would, of course, be necessary to make sure they are a good match.

🐱 With cats: Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

👧 With children: Children aged 12 and older would be ideal for Jojo. She is past the stage where she wants to follow children everywhere, run around, and play all day long. She is now looking for a family who will respect her slower pace and offer her a peaceful life.

Jojo may not have had the best start in life, but we would love nothing more than for the rest of her story to be completely different. ❤️

Apply for the adoption of this dog

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
    *Except dogs from the Northern Paw program*
  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
