🐾 Hi there, I’m Nala! 🐾

I’m an 8-year-and-4-month-old Beagle mix with a wonderful personality! Because of my age, I’m part of the “Grey Muzzle” (Museau Gris) adoption program, which aims to give older animals a great second chance at life. ❤️

I love going for walks and taking my time to sniff out all the interesting scents I come across—there’s just so much to discover! And with my classic Beagle voice, I’m never shy about speaking up to communicate with the humans around me. Let’s just say I’m not one to keep my thoughts to myself! 🐶

I get along well with other dogs and could certainly share my life with a canine companion. We’ll just need to have a meet-and-greet first to make sure we’re a good match and will get along nicely.

Living with cats isn’t recommended for me; my hunting instincts might kick in, and I could end up chasing them. So, I’d prefer a home without any little felines!

I could live with teenagers. Since I can be a bit anxious, I need a calm, secure environment to feel my best. I’ll need a patient family who will respect my pace, give me time to adjust, and help me build confidence in my new surroundings.

I’m dreaming of finding my forever family—a family that can provide a reassuring home where I can enjoy lovely walks, satisfy my curiosity, and just be myself. Apply for the adoption of this dog

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
    *Except dogs from the Northern Paw program*
  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
