Zach — A Little Heart Who Deserves a Gentle Home 🤎

At 13 years old, our sweet Zach, a Dachshund × Boston Terrier × Boxer mix, is simply an adorable little dog. 🥹❤️

Zach is a true little cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be close to his human and receive lots of love and cuddles! And if you enjoy giving him little scratches on his back end, you may very quickly become his favorite person! 🥰

Today, Zach is ready to turn the page and begin a brand-new chapter of his life. 📖🐾

For him, we are looking for a quiet, peaceful home with a retirement-like lifestyle. A home where he can take his time, wake up slowly in the morning, enjoy calm daily routines, and spend his evenings warm and cozy in a peaceful environment.

The noise and activity of a family with young children and several other dogs had become too overwhelming for Zach. Now, he needs calm, stability, and lots of love. ❤️

🐶 Zach can, however, get along very well with other dogs outside the home. He could absolutely have canine friends for occasional meetings and walks, without necessarily having to share his everyday life with them.

After 13 wonderful years, Zach deserves one simple thing: a family who will give him the peace, comfort, and love he is looking for as he begins this next chapter of his story. 🐾🤎

Please note that we do not perform DNA testing at the shelter, so we cannot guarantee his breed.

Apply for the adoption of this dog

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Trupanion Insurance (4 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230

  • Compassionate adoption and dogs aged 12 and over: no adoption fee
