Outside opening hours, contact your local police station. Our on-call team is in contact with the various police services, 24/7.

Report a situation of animal abuse

Contact the MAPAQ

MAPAQ officers have the mandate to investigate situations of abuse, and the authority to intervene.

If you witness a situation where the safety or health of animals is in danger, call 1 844 ANIMALS (264-6289) or file an online complaint (24/7).

The SPCA Roussillon team then works with the MAPAQ by taking in the animals that have to be seized and removed from their environment.

Report a violation of municipal regulations

The SPCA Roussillon is mandated by some of its partner municipalities to intervene in the event of violation of municipal regulations (nuisance). We carry out, if necessary, field visits and offer advice to solve problematic situations. The processing time for your complaint may vary depending on the seriousness of the situation.
