Billie is looking for her forever family! 🐾 At 4 years old, I’m a Beagle/Shiba Inu mix who likes to take my time observing and understanding my surroundings. During a first meeting, I might seem a little distant or “out of it,” but it’s nothing personal 🤍 I simply want to make sure I give my trust to the right people. When I feel safe, I become a sweet and pleasant companion. I can live with other dogs, especially those who aren’t too pushy or boisterous. I like calm friends who respect my space. As for cats, compatibility is unknown. And since I have a fairly strong prey drive, I don’t think they would be my friends. Young children are not recommended for me. I am a dog who can be stressed and needs a calm, predictable, and stable environment to thrive. A family without children would be ideal for me. I’m now looking for a patient and gentle family, ready to let me progress at my own pace and discover the beautiful dog I am. 🐾

Apply for the adoption of this dog

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Petsecure Insurance (6 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54
  • Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization (male and female rabbits AND male guinea pigs) | Preventive deworming | Preventive vaccine against Hemorrhagic disease (rabbits) | Microchip (rabbits)

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $560
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $230
