Canelle is a young dog still learning about the world. Having missed out on early socialization, she can be quite fearful of new situations. Every new experience is a little challenge for her—but also a beautiful opportunity to grow with the right person by her side.

She is discovering life at her own pace. Before arriving at the shelter, Canelle had never interacted with other dogs, which explains her strong fear of them. With time, patience, and gradual, well-managed introductions, she may eventually develop positive relationships with other dogs. For now, she is looking for a home without other dogs so she can build her confidence in a calm and secure environment.

Canelle also has a strong prey drive toward cats and cannot live with them.

She could thrive in a home with children aged 10 and up who will respect her need for space, calm, and gentle interactions. New situations can make her anxious, so a peaceful and understanding environment will help her feel safe.
