Charlotte, a 10.5 year old Boston terrier is looking for her forever family, where she can comfortably live her senior years. Charlotte unfortunately ended up at the shelter after her owner could no longer keep her and 2 other dogs due to moving.
A kennel environment is very hard on dogs, especially a senior like Charlotte. Her world was turned upside down so fast. Charlotte takes medication for Addison’s disease, which is a condition caused by a deficiency in steroid hormones, primarily affecting the adrenal glands. Stress can be very harmful on Charlotte, and this can affect her health greatly. As Charlotte wasn’t doing well, she was depressed and not eating, and vomiting she quickly left in foster care with a member of the medical team. Within two days she was doing much better and back to her normal self and back to eating well.

Charlotte is looking for a nice calm and gentle adoptive family. She can live with other pets (dogs and cats) that are relatively calm. Too much excitement for Charlotte makes her flustered. We believe she is not used to being home alone, as she can be anxious once you leave the house and she will howl and cry. She is a real sweetheart, loves being around her human, always close by. She is always glued to you on the couch watching tv, and loves to sleep under the blankets. If you think you are the right match for Charlotte, please fill out the form below!
