🐶Meet Momma Eska, a 2 year old husky looking for her forever home. Eska came to us when she was seized by MAPAQ with many other dogs from a dog sledding operation. Not long after, she gave birth to 6 little babies. We urgently went to get them from another shelter so they could be safe and quiet in a foster home.

💔At first Eska was petrified, she took great care of her babies, but she was so terrified she didn’t really know what to do with human attention. After a week or so she started coming out of her shell, coming closer and closer to her foster family.
All she knew is the past was probably only being tied to a cabane, and try to survive.
Now that her babies are all grown up, and most have headed off into other fosters, or have been adopted, Eska is ready to find her forever home.

🐕She can live with other dogs, which will help her also adapt in a new environment. She is curious and playful, and she will need someone who is home most of the time since she doesn’t really like being left alone for long periods of time! She is only now learning the real life of a dog, and currently it’s as if she is living her puppy years even though she is 2 years old! She needs a patient family who will give her all the time she needs to grow and adapt into a family.
She is very quick, so she needs a fully fenced yard and can be a slight flight risk if stressed. But with time she will win you over with her puppy looking face!
