Kody is finally looking for his forever family ❤️ 🐶 Kody is a beautiful 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who came into our care following a difficult situation. Despite having a start in life that didn’t allow him to fully thrive, Kody never stopped hoping that one day, someone would show him what true love feels like. ❤️ From the moment he arrived, he slowly started winning the hearts of everyone at the kennel. Behind his sometimes shy expression is a deeply affectionate, intelligent dog with so much potential waiting to be discovered. 💛 Kody may need a little extra time before he feels comfortable trusting you. The first cuddles may not come right away, but once he understands that he is safe, something truly special happens. He bonds deeply and becomes an incredibly loyal companion. Once you become part of his world, he gives you the greatest gift of all: his trust. 🏡 We are looking for an experienced adopter for Kody, ideally someone familiar with German Shepherds or shepherd-type dogs. He will need a patient, understanding person who is willing to invest time in his training and help him learn the basics he unfortunately never had the chance to develop. Kody is not a “perfect” dog… but he is a dog who deserves the chance to become the best version of himself. ❤️ With consistency, love, and the right guidance, we truly believe he can become an amazing lifelong companion. 🐕 Living with other animals For now, we believe a home where Kody is the only pet would be the best option, allowing him to build confidence and adjust at his own pace. With the proper training and a carefully managed introduction, living with another dog could potentially be considered in the future. 🐱 However, a cat-free home will be preferred. Quick movements strongly trigger his chase instinct, and cats can quickly become playmates… whether they want to or not. 👶 Children Due to his energy level and the training he still needs, we are looking for a home without young children. His excitement could unintentionally knock over smaller children. ✨ Today, Kody is only waiting for one thing: a family who will look beyond his past and choose to build his future with him. A family who understands that the most beautiful stories are not always the easiest ones at the beginning… but they are often the most unforgettable. ❤️ If you are ready to give Kody the time, patience, and love he deserves, he will give it back to you a hundred times over. He isn’t looking for a perfect family… he is simply looking for his forever family.🐾
