Myrtille is a 5-year-old Alaskan Husky mix with a personality as big as her temperament. Independent, expressive, and sometimes impatient, she’s one of those dogs who needs to be understood rather than controlled. Myrtille has her limits, her preferences, and her own unique way of seeing the world. She can have a rather short temper, which requires humans who can respect her space and listen to the signals she gives. Despite this, Myrtille is also capable of forming extremely strong bonds with humans who take the time to understand her. In less than two days, she had already developed a wonderful attachment to a staff member, demonstrating her capacity for deep love when she feels safe and secure. In order for her to thrive, Myrtille must be the only pet in the house. A home without cats, dogs, or children will be essential for her well-being. She is looking for a family of adults only, who are patient, stable, and aware that some dogs simply need more understanding and respect for their boundaries. Despite her strong personality, Myrtille has many wonderful qualities. With the right people, she can develop a deep relationship based on trust and mutual respect. She deserves a family ready to accept her as she is and finally offer her the calm and secure home she needs.
