Rocky is a young German Shepherd mix, about a year old, bursting with energy and a zest for life. Still a little clumsy, he is above all adorable and very affectionate. He is a willing dog eager to learn: his training still needs some work, but he is curious, motivated, and ready to progress with a patient and dedicated family.

Rocky could live with another well-balanced and tolerant dog, capable of teaching him canine etiquette. During playtime, he can be a little clumsy and sometimes impolite, without any malice, simply because he is still learning boundaries.

His compatibility with cats is currently unknown. However, with his boundless energy, a gentle, gradual, and supervised introduction could certainly be possible.

Rocky can live with children aged 10 and up who understand that he is strong, enthusiastic, and not yet fully aware of his size and power.

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $300
  • Cats over 6 months old: $250
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $172
  • Compassionate adoption and cats aged 12 and over: no adoption fee

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Petsecure Insurance (6 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $113
  • Guinea pig (female): $16
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $54
  • Rat: $11
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $54

  • Dog more than 6 months old: $445
