​​Shadow — Our “Ninja Dog” Shadow, our adorable American Staffordshire mix, truly lives up to his “Ninja Dog” nickname… because once he decides you’re trustworthy, he bursts into your life at full speed! When meeting someone new, Shadow first takes the time to observe and get to know you. But watch out… it doesn’t take long for you to officially become his climbing wall! With him, cuddles can quickly turn into an impromptu climbing session. Shadow is a dog full of love, but also full of playful mischief! You’ll never be bored with him around. He is energetic, playful, and always ready to join in on whatever is happening. With other dogs: Shadow gets along with other dogs, but his energy level can sometimes be… let’s say, a bit much! He can struggle with self-control when he’s very excited. Living together might therefore be challenging with some dogs especially those who prefer a calmer pace. With cats: Shadow has no bad intentions, but his excitement and boundless energy might be too intense for a small feline. Living with a cat would require very careful assessment. With children: Shadow is a sweetheart and has no mean streak, but he is very boisterous and energetic. His displays of affection can be overwhelming for young children. Children aged 12–13 or older, who can handle his energy, would be a better match for his temperament. Shadow is looking for a family that will love his intense nature, channel his energy, and teach him to better manage his emotions—all while enjoying the little adventures and silly moments he brings to everyday life.
