Let me introduce myself, Smaug, a proud 7 and a half year old shepherd mix. My intelligence and my ability to learn many tricks make me an exceptional companion. I have always had a weakness for the comfort of couches and beds, where I like to lounge. Deeply affectionate, I am a real cuddle bug, always ready to receive and offer hugs. My favorite little ritual? Getting my stomach scratched with your feet. To make you understand my desire, I gently grasp your foot between my paws and pull it towards me insistently. I am also an independent dog: I can stay at home alone without causing any problems. On my walks, I am so enthusiastic at first that I pull on the leash a little, but after a few minutes I relax and walk quietly alongside you. Foodie, I love healthy treats like cucumbers, carrots, peppers and watermelon, which make me drool with pleasure. I don’t like to share my toys because they are very valuable to me. They are my treasures, and I prefer to keep them just for myself! I don’t get along with other animals. For my well-being, I am looking for a calm home where I will be the only four-legged companion.
