Pretzel is a cat with a mysterious past, found wandering a few weeks ago. We don’t know his history, but what is certain is that he needs a loving and patient home to regain his self-confidence and thrive. Currently, Pretzel is a reserved and a little fearful cat. He keeps his distance from humans, but that doesn’t mean he can’t progress with time and good care. With patience, gentleness and a calm environment, he could gradually come out of his shell and show his true character. Pretzel is comfortable around other cats, but he is not suitable for a home with young children, as their energy could increase his nervousness. As for cohabitation with dogs, this remains to be evaluated. If you are a calm person or family, ready to offer time and attention to a cat who needs it, Pretzel could become a great story of rehabilitation and complicity. 1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $280
  • Cats over 6 months old: $235
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $160
  • Compassionate adoption: $160

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $105
  • Guinea pig (female): $15
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $50
  • Rat: $10
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $50

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $520
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $415
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $215
