James is a 9-year-old cat who deserves a peaceful and loving retirement. She is part of our compassionate program, which means her adoption is free of charge—by voluntary donation—to give her a second chance despite her special needs.
James has a history of bladder stones, requiring a specialized urinary diet to maintain her health. This diet must be maintained long-term, but in return, she will offer you a calm and comforting presence.
Gentle but timid, James needs a quiet environment where she can feel safe. She gets along well with other cats, which could help her adjust to a new home. However, dogs are not recommended, and cohabitation with young children is unknown, so a visit is suggested to assess compatibility.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment
A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.
Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm
*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.
*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.
3. Visit at the shelter
The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!
Signing of the adoption contract
Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)
Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)
Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)
Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)
CATS
- Kittens 6 months old and less: $280
- Cats over 6 months old: $235
- Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $160
- Compassionate adoption: $160

EXOTIC ANIMALS
- Rabbit: $105
- Guinea pig (female): $15
- Guinea pig (male – neutered): $50
- Rat: $10
- Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $50
