My name is Jack, and I’m a 1 and a half stunning Akita and Australian Shepherd mix.

I’m a big, lively boy who’s curious and deeply attached to humans. I absolutely love sharing activities with my people—whether it’s running, exploring, or simply spending quality time together, I’m always up for it! My enthusiasm knows no bounds—I even jump for joy when meeting new people. Friendly and affectionate, I enjoy creating connections with everyone I meet.

However, being alone is something I struggle with. When left by myself for too long, I may express my distress by crying or howling. That’s why the shelter recommends a house over an apartment for me, to provide a more peaceful and comforting environment where I can truly thrive.

As for other dogs, I’m generally friendly if the other dog is as well. But I might react if the other dog is reactive—so proper introductions are essential to ensure a smooth relationship.
