Meet Momma Daisy, a 3 years young female American Staffordshire Terrier looking for her forever family. If you saw our facebook post about a month ago of 7 dogs left in a cage in our parking lot, well this is the momma to all those dogs.

We do not know their past, but from what they went through being dumped in our parking without any information, is that their future will definitely be better.

Momma Daisy is the last of the group to be in adoption, all her pups have been adopted over the past two weeks. We have a pretty good feeling that Momma Daisy was bred over and over to sell her pupps for profit, with no care for her. She is now spayed, and will never have to go through that ever again.

She has had the hardest time adapting to all these sudden changes over the past month. She was very defensive of her pupps when she arrived, which is normal for a momma to want to protect her babies. Once in her foster home with her pupps she adjusted well and attached herself to her caregiver. She just wants to cuddle and she realize her strength at time when she wants hugs!

She has a hard time adjusting to stress and strangers, so we are looking for a family that lives in a quiet area that will have the time to slowly introduce her to her environment gradually. She walks well with a harness but she is not a very active dog. She rather be a couch potato than go for an hour hike!

We know she has lived with other dogs, but seeing other dogs in her foster family she hadn’t had the best reaction, so if you have a dog we will have to see how a meet and greet will go. As for cats she is great, but not any other small animal. She is best in a home without kids.

If you think you are the family for Momma Daisy, please fill out the form below. Don’t forget she is in a foster home, so visits are by appointment only, if your form has been selected!
