My name is Trixie, and I’m a lovely Griffon–Poodle mix, 9 years and 9 months old. I’m a gentle little lady with a tender heart, always ready to offer affection. I love cuddling close to my humans, receiving gentle pets, and simply enjoying their company. I’m a calm, loyal companion with a sweet personality and a soft gaze that reflects all the kindness I carry inside.

With my affectionate nature, I’m the perfect match for someone who enjoys quiet moments, cozy cuddle sessions, and nice, relaxing daily walks. However, there’s one thing you should know about me: I don’t like being left alone for long periods. Being by myself makes me uncomfortable, and I feel happiest when my humans are near. For this reason, the shelter is looking for a family where someone is home often—perhaps a retiree, someone who works from home, or simply someone who enjoys spending time in the comfort of their house.

At my age, I still have so much love to give, and I’m dreaming of a warm, peaceful home where I can finally relax, feel safe, and share each day with the people I love. If you’re searching for a sweet, loyal, gentle, and incredibly affectionate little companion, I might just be the perfect new addition to your life.

Trixie is part of our gray muzzle mission, which reduces adoption fees to give our older dogs the chance to find a family more quickly!

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!
