Chikis is an adorable 10-year-old cat patiently awaiting her forever family. As part of our Grey Muzzle program, she is looking for a loving home where she can enjoy a peaceful and comfortable retirement.
Gentle and affectionate, Chikis loves spending time with humans. She loves to be cuddled and doesn’t hesitate to seek out cuddles whenever she gets the chance. Her affectionate temperament makes her an ideal companion for someone who wants a loving and reassuring presence every day.
Chikis coexists well with other cats. Her compatibility with dogs is unknown, but with a good introduction, cohabitation could be possible. She is also very gentle with children, making her a perfect choice for a family with younger members.

1. Fill out an application form on our website according to the type of animal you would like to adopt.
2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment
A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.
Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm
*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.
*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.
3. Visit at the shelter
The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!
Signing of the adoption contract
Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)
Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)
Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)
Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)
CATS
- Kittens 6 months old and less: $280
- Cats over 6 months old: $235
- Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $160
- Compassionate adoption: $160

EXOTIC ANIMALS
- Rabbit: $105
- Guinea pig (female): $15
- Guinea pig (male – neutered): $50
- Rat: $10
- Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $50
- Others: contact us for the adoption fees for other species of exotic animals

DOGS
- Puppy 6 months old and less: $520
- Dog more than 6 months old: $415
- Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $215
