Peanut is an adorable 5-year-old cat patiently waiting for his forever family. Gentle and sociable, he loves human company and gets along well with other cats. He’s a calm and affectionate companion who will bring a wonderful presence to your daily life.

Peanut has been under our care for quite some time.  He arrived with injuries all over his legs and body. After treatments , everything was going well, but he kept having re-occurring abscess’s in his neck.

The whole shelter grew attached to Peanut so we knew we had to keep helping him. He was then followed by two specialists at CVL , and underwent not one, but two surgeries by the specialists.  Months and months later, after more treatments, we can finally say: Peanut is okay!

We are so pleased that everything went well, and Peanut is all better. He was an expensive case, but certain ones we know we just cannot give up on them!

Peanut is part of our Compassionate program because he requires a hypoallergenic diet, which means his adoption is free.  This will also allow his future family to continue to provide all the proper care he may need in the future!

Peanut would be best in a home without dogs. For children, we recommend 12 and up due to his special food, and he can play bite.

Peanut deserves a loving and caring home that understands his special needs. Do you have a little space in your home for this charming little guy?
