Patchy is a 5-year-and-11-month-old Labrador mix with a gentle and thoughtful personality. He is curious and likes to observe his surroundings before fully engaging in interactions. Food-loving, he can never resist a treat, which is an excellent way to gain his trust and facilitate his learning. Patchy is affectionate, but he needs time to open up. Once he feels comfortable, he becomes playful and loves sharing moments of bonding with those who respect his pace. He is selective with other dogs, especially larger ones, with whom he can struggle more. However, with a gradual introduction and proper supervision, cohabitation could be possible. He is unfamiliar with cats, but with good environment management and the right introduction, he could adapt to them. Patchy is not compatible with young children as he needs a calm environment where he can have his space without being disturbed. However, he could get along well with teenagers, as long as they respect his boundaries and canine signals. He can also be reserved toward men, whom he sometimes perceives as more imposing, but with patience, gentleness, and some treats, he is capable of establishing a strong bond. Patchy is an intelligent and adorable dog who has a lot of love to give, but he needs a stable and respectful environment to thrive fully.
