Taz is a discreetly charming male degu whose age is unknown, but he certainly doesn’t lack personality. Although he doesn’t particularly enjoy being handled, he readily allows himself to be petted and knows how to take advantage of quiet moments to be pampered.

Taz would be a good companion for a family with children 8 years and older who can respect his need for space and gentleness. His compatibility with cats and dogs is unknown, so careful introductions will be essential if other pets share your home.

He’s a curious little rodent who will win your heart with his expressions and his unique routine. He is now waiting for a patient and loving home that will provide him with a stimulating, safe environment that meets his needs.

2. Our team will contact you to make an appointment

A member of our adoption team will contact you as soon as possible to follow up on your request. You will be advised according to your profile.

Adoption hours:
Monday to Friday – 12pm to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 5pm

*We receive a very large amount of requests. They will be answered based on the order of receipt and the quality of the responses. You will be contacted if your application is approved.

*No animal reservation is possible until the adoption is confirmed in order to maximize the chances of placing our animals in good families.

3. Visit at the shelter

The visit is a time for you to meet our animals, and for our team to go more in depth with certain aspects of your adoption request in order to ensure that the adoption is a success. If the visit is positive, we will proceed with the adoption at the shelter and you will go home with your new companion!

Signing of the adoption contract

Payment of adoption fees (cards preferred)

Purchase of a food bag (mandatory for cats and dogs)

Safe departure of the animal in a carrier (cat, exotic) or on a leash (dog)

Possibility of purchasing certain basic items in our store (litter, transporter, etc.)

CATS

  • Kittens 6 months old and less: $280
  • Cats over 6 months old: $235
  • Senior cats 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $160
  • Compassionate adoption: $160

The fees include: Veterinary examination | Sterilization | Basic vaccines and dewormers (preventive) | Microchip | 30 Day Limited Health Guarantee | Petsecure Insurance (6 weeks).

EXOTIC ANIMALS

  • Rabbit: $105
  • Guinea pig (female): $15
  • Guinea pig (male – neutered): $50
  • Rat: $10
  • Compassionate adoption for a rabbit: $50

DOGS

  • Puppy 6 months old and less: $520
  • Dog more than 6 months old: $415
  • Senior dog 7+ years old (Grey Muzzle Mission): $215
